Silver Clay ring course
On this course you will make a ring our of silver clay. You can add texture, decorations, stones or whatever you need to make a beautiful ring to take away with you.

What will you learn?
There are a few choices on this course, you can make a ring with CZ Stones, with a silver clay decoration on or with some texture or carving around it.
You will learn how to size it and work out shrinkage so your final piece is the correct size.
Depending on the ring you make, you will learn different types of textures and techniques for adding decorations
You will learn the process for sizing, cutting and seamlessly joining the ring shank, then making the decorations to add afterwards.
The ring can be thin, thick, rounded or flat, there is plenty of scope in this workshop for your own design.
Once dried I will explain some techniques for decorating the ring, adding feature pieces or decoration around the shank
This workshop can be used as practice for part of the level 1 Diploma course, which includes 2 rings
Where is the course?
The course will be taught in my shop in the beautiful border town of Knighton
What’s included in the workshop cost?
The price includes all the materials you will need to make the basics of the course, including 10g of clay, a glass stone or some syringe to make your decoration, plus tea and biscuits.
You will need to bring your own lunch, or there are nearby shops, a cafe and a chip shop if you’d rather buy some on the day..
If you get carried away (easily done!) and want to make more on the day, extra materials will be available to purchase.
The course will run from 10 till 4
